Sattler Clothing founder Dave Sattler
A portion of the profits from Sattler Organic Clothing goes to the Ashby Foundation in Cape Verde, Africa or others as decided by Sattler Organic Clothing. In late 2006, while working with an organization based in Africa Dave decided to create a way to support more of his favorite organizations. Around the same time Dave began looking for eco-friendly organic clothing and realized there was a shortage of cool, eco-friendly clothes for the average guy or gal.
With these two realities, Dave decided to establish a company designed to fill the void of eco-friendly and fair labor clothing and use a portion of the proceeds to support some of his favorite organizations. Sattler Organic Clothing was founded on the belief that business has a unique capacity to catalyst change and that there are a lot more people out there that want to support eco-friendly and fair labor clothing production standards than can afford a $40 eco-friendly tshirt. Even though organic cotton costs approx. 30% more than conventional cotton we spend our time trying to make sustainable, organic clothing a practical option for more consumers without compromising Sattler quality and fair labor standards. If you ever feel like your product(s) is not Sattler quality, send me an email dave@sattlerclothing.com
